What we collect and why
Waitlist and contact forms. When you send a form, we receive your name, email address, organisation and anything you write in the message. The form is run by Formspree, which passes your submission to our groundsuit.com email addresses. We use it to reply to you, to manage the waitlist and to keep you informed about Groundsuit. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and building interest in Groundsuit.
Visit statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see general information such as the pages visited, referring sites, browser type and country. It does not use cookies or store anything on your device, and it does not build a profile of you. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used.
Hosting and security. The site is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser details. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
Cookies
We do not use cookies for analytics or advertising. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie to tell people apart from automated traffic.
Who handles your data
We use these providers, who process data on our behalf:
Formspree, Inc. (United States) for the forms;
Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) for hosting, security and visit statistics;
Proton AG (Switzerland) for our email.
Where data goes outside the UK, these providers' data processing terms include safeguards recognised under UK data protection law. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising or share it with anyone else unless the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions while we need them to deal with your enquiry and keep you informed about Groundsuit. We delete them, including the copy held in our Formspree account, when they are no longer needed or when you ask us to.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it or limit how we use it. You can also object to our use of it, including any emails we send you. Email hello@groundsuit.com.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
